After providing the public with a sneak peek of its upcoming crossover, Kia Philippines finally unveils its latest model, the Stonic crossover. Aimed at fun-loving, goal-driven, young trendsetters, the Stonic lives up to modern-day demands, particularly young, active, and adventurous buyers with its design and aesthetics.
Award-winning design
The Stonic crossover is built on a compact footprint, featuring sharp lines blended with Kia’s trademark Tiger Nose Grille. envisioned by Kia Chief Designer, Peter Schreyer, the result is an unmistakably European design language that has already earned recognition from globally-renowned iF Design and Red Dot Awards.
Power and space
Propelling the Stonic is a 1.4-liter dual CVVT engine that is mated to either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. It returns 95 PS (five-speed MT) and 100 PS (six-speed AT), respectively.
Despite its size, the Stonic is designed to offer mounds of space and versatility thanks to its clever interior engineering. It can transport more than 325 liters of cargo when the seats are upright, giving owners more freedom to bring what they need for work or leisure purposes. There’s, even more, cargo space when the rear seats are folded flat.
