A couple who were stalked by the brother of Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr have claimed he is continuing to harass them from prison.
John and Julie Fagan were subjected to a year-long campaign of terror by the star’s estranged brother Paul Kerr.
Jailed Kerr targeted them with sex lies after a row about the band.
Now nurse John, 52, has contacted police after letters in Kerr’s name were sent to his current and previous employers containing more false allegations about him.
He said: “Kerr has been trying to affect my employment from prison by writing multiple letters since he was jailed for stalking us.
“He first wrote to NHS England but they wondered who Paul Kerr and John Fagan were so they passed it to the Nursing & Midwifery Council, which regulates nurses and has the power to strike a nurse off the register.
