A 65-year-old man and his 21-year-old daughter were killed when their neighbour’s five-storey building in north-east Delhi’s Seelampur collapsed on Monday night.
Both Mohammed Yaseen, a tailor, and his daughter Sarfaraz alias Moni, were inside their house in JJ Colony at that time, the police said. Three persons — Arman (33), Shahjahan Begum (33) and Samshudin — were injured in the collapse, they added.
Yaseen’s other daughter, Rani (20), alleged that they had complained to the neighbours regarding the construction of multiple floors and its dangers but they didn’t listen to them.
