Lissie Harper, whose husband was killed when he was caught in a tow rope and dragged along a country lane while trying to stop quad bike thieves in Berkshire last year, is campaigning for tougher sentencing laws to protect emergency service workers.

PC Harper’s three killers were convicted of manslaughter, with driver Henry Long getting a 16-year term.
