Hyderabad: While the LB Nagar police were making an effort to nab two bike-borne chain snatchers, they chanced upon counterfeit currency racket in Yousufguda on Thursday.
On interrogating the snatchers, the Rachakonda police found that a nine-member gang was involved in preparing counterfeit currency notes and arrested them.
The gang was planning to circulate ₹3.22 lakh counterfeit currency.
