Bhushan Kumar and Nagraj Manjule's Jhund garners praise from directors

 Amitabh Bachchan-starrerJhund, which released in theatres on March 4, has received appreciation from the audience, critics, filmmakers and actors alike. Directed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Bhushan Kumar, this film showcases the true Jhund-work (teamwork) that has been put in to create this film.

Recently, various Indian filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Milap Zaveri, Om Raut, Laxman Utekar, Inder Kumar, Mudassar Aziz, Tushar Hiranandani, Siddhartha Jadhav and Subhash Kapoor, among others attended a special screening organised by the makers.

Director Anurag Kashyap, said, “It is one of the best films I have watched in a long time. Not only has it moved me, but it has left me energised. Jhund is going to create pagalpan in cinema. Nagraj has bowled over everyone and I think I need to go back to learning filmmaking again.”

Filmmaker Om Raut shared, “Jhund is a film that shakes you. It's not just entertaining, but a thought-provoking film as well. All the departments, actors, as well as the director, have done an incredible job and their teamwork shows in the film. I would thank Bhushan Kumar for supporting such a story and producing a movie like this. Such stories from India should be brought to the audiences.”
