Thackeray said he will soon give a befitting reply to the "new and nakli (fake)" advocates of Hindutva by holding a public meeting in Mumbai. He did not name any political party. Speaking at the launch of BEST's common mobility card in Colaba, Thackeray said "Shiv Sainiks do not believe in Ghantadhari Hindutva, but in Gadadhari Hindutva".
"In the past, sadhus and sants have visited Matoshree... but they always informed my family in advance and politely sought permission before coming to my residence," Thackeray said, adding that if anyone tries to use "dadagiri” (force) to come to his house, then Sainiks know how to respond.
