If skin is cracked, your GP may prescribe a steroid cream. They may also give antibiotics to treat infection or antihistamines to ease itching.' For a new approach, try the Skintoskin Bodysuit (£20.95, everythingforeczema.com), which is infused with antiseptic silver and soothing seaweed to heal the skin.
