Rainy day munchies!

The monsoon season is here! Time to cosy up with a steaming cuppa and a book, by the window. Despite giving us relief from the scorching summer heat, the rains also bring along the season of infections. During this season, it’s particularly important to take extra care of our li’l ones, especially with COVID-19 crisis still looming over us. We need to keep the common cold, cough, flu or any other disease away from our munchkins. So, before the season brings any unpleasant health news our way, let’s make sure we build ourselves a bulletproof immunity system with these healthy and easy recipes

BOILED CORN CHAAT

You need

• 1 cup sweet corn kernels

• 1 tbsp cold-pressed virgin coconut oil

• 2 tbsp onion, chopped

• 2 tbsp tomatoes, chopped

• 2 tbsp capsicum, chopped

• 1 tbsp coriander, finely chopped

• 2 tsp lemon juice

• 1 tsp chilli flakes

• Salt, as per taste

You must

• Rinse corn kernels in water. Add the rinsed corn kernels in a pressure cooker, add water add salt as required. Pressure cook for three to four whistles.

• Heat the cold-pressed virgin coconut oil in a broad non-stick pan, add corn kernels and sauté on a medium flame for few minutes.
