Taylor Wessing - Photographic Portrait Prize 2019
Sometimes derided for the number of unhappy faces on display, the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2019 nevertheless remains one of the world’s most prestigious and important photography competitions.

This year, the exhibition will display 57 works from the 3,700 submissions entered by 1,611 photographers from 70 countries, all hoping to get their hands on the coveted £15,000 grand prize which has previously launched or furthered the careers of many well-known portrait photographers.
