I remember vividly being amazed by the outstanding landscapes in photography books and exhibitions, displayed in color and black and white.
Taking pictures of sceneries can look rather basic and ordinary, but the truth is told, they make great testimonials. Images taken at the spur of the moment could be references to evolving situations such as the climate, environment, urbanization, war, and so much more. It is indeed rare for me to travel to take snapshots simply for landscapes, but there are a few exceptions that I can't resist these beautiful landscapes and find myself taking shots along the way.
2018 | WEST REGION OF SICHUAN, CHINA
I traveled to Tibet, not for the landscapes but to immerse myself in the rich cultures and humble beings.
But the experience that came with the cultures was amplified by the stunning sceneries that surrounded me - from mountains, lakes, valleys, temples to houses and lives; it was all a show-stopper at every turn.
I took these photographs with my digital medium format FUJIFILM GFX 50R and also used a very old film medium format camera.
