THE APPRENTICE
NAME: Michael Becket
CAMERA: Nikon D850
Michael’s seven-decade passion for photography has spawned countless cameras. He bought his first Nikon when his beloved Leica III was stolen. As he puts it: “I noticed most professional photographers used the Nikon F and I worked on the simple principle, they knew better than anyone what was best.” An F2 followed, but when the quality of digital improved he purchased a D300. Several DSLRs later and he’s the proud owner of a D850 – and is eyeing up Ben’s Z 9…
Ben Moore is part of a growing contingent of social-media savvy professionals who have pushed the boundaries of urban photography. He’s cultivated a career snuffing out the most photogenic cityscapes in London and beyond.
