The Piggy Bank

As a child, all of us would have been extremely excited to have a piggy bank of our own. I can still recollect the very first piggy bank that was gifted to me. In fact, all of us (the kid's group in the family) were gifted with beautiful wooden piggy banks on New Year's Eve. Our excitement knew no bounds. From that day on, it became a routine to drop in our money to ensure that the bank would be full of money soon.

Every small coin and every big currency note would go directly into that small bank of ours. The race had begun, and the target was the next New Year. All the little ones would make ends meet to get any small penny.

It was great fun since all my cousins and siblings were part of this game.
