To have a few exciting moments or to be excited every moment?
I was an all-rounder during my school days; sports activities were to the peak. I concentrated on my morning sports practice every day. I was the captain, so had to win a lot of matches to get the trophy for the school. I really used to enjoy the success of winning the interschool matches, which led to the preparation for the district level then to state level and so on… Every time I won in a level, my focus shifted to the next step upwards, to the next level. So, the success experienced in a level was only transitory, for I was not left with much time to enjoy it; I had to prepare for the next…
I was very excited to participate in cultural and extra circular activities; hence I was investing time in learning the art form, perform with heavy costumes, with good amount of makeup and jewellery on stage, doing justice to all the roles I adorned, win the hearts of audience by taking away the appreciations and crowns… ultimately enjoy the victory by partying, but again had to think of the next level...
The same thing continued during my college days too… I was juggling between cultural events, sports, compering and I completed my graduation and post-graduation with flying colours.
I got a well-paying job in the campus interview; I achieved my targets by putting in tremendous efforts and I was on par with the market expectations. But I was stressed all the time to move towards another level, once achieved, again had to think of the next level..
