Hoban hits out as Boardman's stock rises

Barry Hoban has never shied away from speaking his mind. This week he added his name to a growing number of people laying into the British Cycling Federation and questioning why British pros weren’t performing internationally. At this time only Robert Millar, who was arguably just over the peak of his career, and Sean Yates were riding at the highest level.

While Hoban undoubtedly knew his stuff, he, like others, had some interesting theories as to why the Brits were lagging behind their European neighbours.
