Brit admits Giro comeback is unlikely.
Chris Froome admitted on Monday that he was unlikely to recover from his 2.27 deficit in the Giro d’Italia over the next two weeks to win in Rome.
Following a difficult start in Israel, where he crashed prior to the opening time trial, Froome lost time on the key stages last week and on stage nine slipped another 1.07 behind stage winner and overall leader Simon Yates (Mitchelton-Scott).
