AS the person who is usually behind the Celtic TV camera, it is with great pleasure that I bring to you my first contribution to the Celtic View’s Last Word… it’s a genuinely exciting experience.
My early memories of being a fan is my Dad bringing home the latest editions of the Celtic View, where I would unashamedly jump straight to the mid-section to find which player would be that week’s poster.
Whether it was Tom Boyd, Paul McStay or Pierre van Hooijdonk, they would all find a way to be on my bedroom wall. Fond memories.
IT has been a very good week for Neil Lennon and his side, starting off with a superb Europa League play-off round first leg win against Swedish side, AIK.
It could’ve proved to have been a difficult evening for the Bhoys, but a deserved goal for on-form James Forrest and a quite magnificent free-kick by Odsonne Edouard put us in a good position before heading to Sweden this week for the return leg.
The Hoops then faced Hearts on Sunday, where Bayo made an incredible impact on his first start at the club.
Bayo is a great character around the Lennoxtown training ground and I was delighted to see him grab two goals (we think!) on the way to a Man of the Match performance.
