December was a life-changing month for Celtic Academy graduate, Scott Robertson and now the young midfielder is reaping the benefits of the Hoops’ mid-season training camp in Dubai.
It’s been a steady rise through the ranks for Robertson who has spent years learning his trade under the tutelage of Celtic’s youth system.
Now, having made the huge leap of making his first-team debut, the 18-year-old is hopeful the chance to train with the first team in the winter training camp will help him earn more opportunities in Neil Lennon’s team.
WERE YOU ALWAYS EXPECTING TO JOIN THE TEAM IN DUBAI FOR THE TRAINING CAMP?
No, I didn’t get much notice that I was going. I got a text on December 30 saying I was going, I told my Mum and Dad straight away and they were really happy for me. That was my first time out there and it was really good.
