And the first impressions from January signing Gedson Fernandes is that type of dressing room is exactly what is at the heart of our Club. Having joined us on an 18-month loan deal in the winter window, Gedson has spent the last few weeks getting to grips with his new home and his new club but, from what he has seen and experienced so far in north London, he is feeling optimistic about his time with us – especially with the ‘fantastic’ atmosphere in the squad.
When asked about how he was fitting in with the group, the attack-minded midfielder couldn’t hide how impressed he was by his new teammates. Like with any big move, the initial moments may have been a whirlwind for the young Portuguese international but now, he is loving every minute of being part of the group.
And, while the 21-year-old admits he is one of the quieter members of the group, it is clear his teammates have made a real impact on him, even in such a short space of time.
“I think the group reacted well to me joining,” our number 30 explained. “The first moment was a bit strange because I was new, they didn’t know me but I’ve made good friends here already. I’ve got good teammates so I’m enjoying it in the dressing room.
