Yakuza series creators are back with a gripping legal drama

Having heard nothing but good things about the Yakuza series, we were eager to get our hands on Judgment that is based in the same world of Kamurocho. While the world is the same, this spinoff distinguishes itself by turning into a legal drama.

Judgment follows the story of Takayuki Yagami, a lawyer by profession has a moral code but it was betrayed when he successfully manages to acquit his client Shinpei Okubo, only to let him murder his own girlfriend months later. The guilt of his mistake takes over making Yagami leave the profession and start his own private detective agency.

While Yagami scrapes by doing odd jobs for random citizens and his old boss, the main story twists and turns when he sets out to find a serial killer on the loose whose finishing act involves gouging the eyes of the victims.
