Moroka Swallows Is Struggling To Stay On Top Of Their Game
THERE is no doubt that Moroka Swallows is one of the top teams to have emerged from Soweto, alongside Orlando Pirates. The team was founded in 1947 and grew from strength to strength, playing in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL). However, things started falling apart in recent years.
Looking at how everything crashed down for the Dube Birds is really a bitter pill to swallow for the tens of thousands of the madalas and gogos who are firm supporters of the team. The team has been fighting one relegation after another in different leagues – the worst was going down from the ABC Motsepe Provincial League to the SAB Regional League.
