THE name, Prophet Sheperd Bhushiri is almost synonymous with prophecy and miracles. The founder of Christian Enlightened Gathering (ECG) in Pretoria has faced substantial criticism from a wide array of people from both secular and Christian circles, with some accusing him of being a false prophet posing as a man of God. Scathing as the criticisms is, he has remained undisturbed and continues to impact lives.

Prophet Bushiri, who is also a philanthropist and entrepreneur, says he is not bothered by what people are saying about him and argues that the calling of a prophet comes with such persecution.
