GAYLE Newland recently broke down at Manchester Crown Court in the UK after she was found guilty of a string of sexual assaults, after a retrial in which it emerged that she duped other women. The 27-year-old woman from Willaston, Cheshire, screamed, “I can’t go back to jail” after again being convicted of impersonating a man to trick a female friend into having sex with her over a period of two years.

Three other women also spoke to Gayle online believing that she was a FilipinoLatino man named Kye Fortune. The creative writing graduate, described in court as a “persuasive liar”, adopted the persona to seduce a fellow student at Chester University in 2011.
