ABOUT ME I’m Jeongeun Choi, 40, but everyone calls me Julie. I’m an Airbnb apartment manager, and I live with my husband, Adam Irvine, 34.

MY HOME I live in a four-bedroom detached house built in 1918, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I have lived here for three years.

WHEN I MOVED IN The house was full of character. I loved the high ceilings and bay windows, but the decor was outdated, particularly the retro carpets and wallpaper.

AND NOW Our changes have made it more suited to modern living; not only in style, but also where layout and natural light is concerned.
