Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright aren’t the only couple who seem OK having a lot of space between them
They say a little independence is good for a marriage. while theoretically that might be true, in most cases (whether we’re happy about it or not!) our husbands are a pretty constant fixture of our daily lives. But for Our Girl actress michelle Keegan and her husband mark wright, both 31, the honeymoon period of their three-year marriage has been spent on opposite sides of the globe.
With former TOWIE heartthrob Mark moving to Los Angeles for a presenting job and Michelle travelling the world for filming, the couple currently have little choice but to lead separate lives for most of the year. However, they insist it works for them, keeping the passion alive with regular Face Time calls and never going more than four weeks without seeing each other.
But while long-distance relationships might work for the celebrity jet set (and possibly gap-year students!), how realistic is it for regular married couples?
Here, we find out if a long-distance marriage can ever really last...
