The city’s most iconic landmark, the Space Needle, built in 1962, is worth a trip to the top on your first day for a bird’s eye view of the city. The tower has the world’s only revolving glass floor to press your face against if you’re feeling brave. From there,step back in time at Pike Place Market for lunch, one of the oldest public markets in the US. One clam chowder, please!
