Royal biographer Lady Colin Campbell says Princess Diana would be ‘devastated’ if there was a rift between her sons William and Harry
Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in May 2018, rumours that Harry and his older brother William are drifting apart have been abundant.
While the boys used to be snapped often laughing and joking together in public, now they appear frosty and distant. And the one person, we’re told, who’d be most upset by any rift between the boys would be their late mother Princess Diana.
Royal expert Lady Colin Campbell, who has written many books on the royals – and specifically Diana – tells Woman that the Princess of Wales would be ‘devastated’ by the boys’ apparent falling out. She also explains why Diana would be ‘horrified’ by some of Meghan’s behaviour…
DIANA WOULD BE HEARTBROKEN
Princess Diana completely doted on William and Harry, who were just 15 and 12 when she died. Always close, recently the brothers appear to have drifted apart – a situation thought to have started when William voiced his concern that Harry’s relationship with Meghan was moving too quickly.
Lady Colin says that Diana would be ‘upset’ that her boys aren’t as close as they once were. ‘No mother wants their sons not to get on,’ she says.
