It’s that time of year when we all embark on health kicks in a bid to shift that Christmas weight, and the ever-relatable Ruth Langsford is no different. The star, 63, has revealed she’s back on track after, like us, indulging over the festive period. Sharing a picture of her giant water bottle filled with fruit on Instagram, Ruth told her army of followers, ‘The detox begins!’
But while Ruth has been open about the fact she’s struggled with her weight since hitting menopause, admitting, ‘These days I put on weight much more easily,’ she’s keen to look after her body and stay in the best shape possible. So the star is using January as the perfect opportunity to get her diet and fitness back in check.
