Courteney's Getting Married At Last!

The long-distance heartache is over for the Friends actress and her Irish rocker fiance

They’ve spent much of their eight-year relationship doing the long-distance thing between the US and the UK, and Courteney Cox admitted recently the pandemic has made things even harder to see her man Johnny McDaid.

But the wedding countdown is finally on for the 57-year-old actress and the Snow Patrol singer, 44, with Courteney planning a move to London, where Johnny is based, to become Mrs McDaid!

The pair got engaged in 2014 but were forced to put their plans on hold in 2015, with an insider telling Woman’s Day that Courteney couldn’t relocate because her ex-husband, actor David Arquette – with whom she shares daughter Coco – lives in the US.

HEARTBREAK

“David is a devoted father and the thought of Coco living so far away just wasn’t an option,” says a source. “But Johnny’s band records in London, and there was no way he could pick up and move to California.

“So when they saw no way to remedy the situation, Johnny and Courteney called offtheir engagement. It was a heartbreaking decision, but they had no other choice.”

Since reuniting in 2016, Court and Johnny have done their best to stay connected, flying back and forth for visits. But when the pandemic hit last year, they were forced to stay in their respective countries.
