He once claimed he was married to his career, but Jamie Durie has revealed he’s now tying the knot for real with his singer girlfriend Ameka Jane.
“She said Yes,” the former House Rules host gushed in an Instagram post on February 27 announcing their engagement. “Thank you to my beautiful @amekajane for turning my life upside-down. I couldn’t be happier. Magic night for a magic girl.”
Given his green thumb, it was only fitting that the gardening guru popped the question at sunset with a show-stopping floral arrangement spelling out “Marry me”!

And lucky Ameka, 33, also scored a custom engagement ring from Instinct jewelers, featuring argyle champagne diamonds and green Asscher cut sapphires.
“The stones were chosen for sentiment and we think it turned out great,” the jeweler shared on social media.
It’s no wonder the model, who also runs the lifestyle blog The Soul Sisters, was wowed.
