She’s always been beautiful, but as she celebrates her 50th birthday this week, Nicole Kidman has never looked more dazzling – despite an exhausting schedule that’s seen her crisscrossing the globe.

The actress has been juggling shooting action movie Aquaman on the Gold Coast, attending the Cannes Film Festival in France, accepting awards for her role in Lion in London and promoting Sofia Coppola’s new film The Beguiled in Los Angeles.

It would be enough to make any woman half her age feel exhausted, but as Nicole greets her 50s head on, the star has told fans, “I never thought this would be one of the best years of my life. I thought, at 40, that I’d be retired by 50. But I want to tell everyone life begins at 40 and it begins at 50.”

Still, as she marks her milestone birthday on June 20, the Aussie icon has some other hot tips when it comes to looking as good as she does.

Naturally fair, the Oscarwinning actress’ porcelain skin is one of her best attributes and she’s always been careful to slather herself in sunscreen.
