India has varied ranges of high heels. There are various types of high heels prevalent in our country. These high heels were known as sandals or toe-knob sandals (paduka or padu).

There were also Padavestinaki, Pula, Manda-Pulah. The footwear that they used to wear can be classified as Upanat, Paduka (sandals), Padarakasana, etc.
