The Lexicon Art Gallery presented an exhibition on Indian Miniature paintings in its Gallery space at Connaught Place, Delhi, titled 'His Glory and His Monuments, on Indian Gods, Maps and Cosmography'. The exhibition brought together an eclectic body of works, including miniature paintings and folios of manuscript illustrations of gods, and cosmographic maps from the Jain and Hindu traditions.
By proffering a brief look into the deep-rooted artistic traditions as well as Indian cultural practices, the exhibition captivated esoteric customs from different centuries. The show was curated by Dr. Kallol Roy and was designed by Artist Avijit Dutta.
