Alpina has cornered the ultrarapid BMW 3 Series estate market for quite some time, but not for much longer, as we're only months away from the arrival of the first-ever M3 Touring.
It will be a compelling and wildly quick machine, the M wagon, but you would be foolish to immediately forget about Buchloe's B3 Touring, with its more sat-back personality and cultured appearance.
In line with BMW's recent update to the G20-generation 3 Series, the B3 has been facelifted, gaining some design tweaks, more power and torque plus marginal improvements in cooling and aerodynamics, all of which you would expect to make an already five-star car even more... five-starry.
