A LONG WINTER BREAK and two pre-season tests and practice sessions later, it is finally time for the 2024 MotoGP season to get under way. There is plenty to look forward to, which includes the tantalising aspect on whether KTM and Aprilia have closed the gap to reigning champions Ducati, how the Japanese presence (Yamaha and Honda) will respond to the current European domination, and how the highly rated Pedro Acosta will fare in his rookie premier class season with the GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 satellite KTM squad. Of course, there is also the prospect of seeing the six-time MotoGP champion, Marc Márquez, in Ducati machinery via the Gresini Racing squad on the 2023 championship-winning GP23. So, if you thought the 2023 season was a roller-coaster, this season has all the ingredients to be an all-time classic.
