SEBASTIEN OGIER, WHO is taking on sporadic drives for Toyota Gazoo Racing this year, began his part-time season with a brilliant showing in the French Alps, dominating GR Yaris teammate, Kalle Rovanperd, by 18.8 seconds in a one-two finish for the Japanese team. His nine triumphs were attained with five different manufacturers during a three-decade-long period. The fact that his co-driver, Vincent Landais, celebrated his first world-level victory contributed significantly to Ogier’s perfect weekend.
