VERSTAPPEN DOMINATES SPANISH GP

Max Verstappen won the Spanish GP, leading from Hamilton and Russell in the Mercedes, while his teammate, Perez, finished a respectable fourth

MAX VERSTAPPEN WON the race in Spain with commendable control from start to finish, thereby earning his third victory at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and his fifth victory of the 2023 season. He also extended his championship lead.

George Russell worked his way up from 12th on the grid with a series of overtakes, while Lewis Hamilton overcame a first-lap collision with Lando Norris of McLaren and an early duel with Carlos Sainz of Ferrari. Mercedes took a double podium.
