The event was organized by club member Chad Weyker. The check-in opened at 6:30 p.m. with the competition starting at 8 p.m. There were 10 vessels (most with two competitors) who headed out for some frog gigging competition from the Boars Nest airboat camp. The final weigh-in was just prior to 11 p.m., back at the camp. Past club president Bruce Ward manned the grill, cooking up some food for all the participants as they were returning.

Poker Run to Help a Friend
A few of my friends reached out to me, the manager at Jolly Gator Fish Camp, needing help to raise money for Eddie aka \"Peanut\" Scott for a kidney transplant. We jumped into action. With not much time, we planned an airboat poker run for October 5, 2024.
