3 years back, Banking Frontiers had interviewed Sunita Handa about time, as to how SBI warriors were battling covid-19 at its Global IT Centre. Her effective leadership had not only ensured continued delivery of 24x7 multi-channel services to over 500 million customers of the bank, but also enabled timely execution of critical projects coming out of the new govt initiatives for the pandemic times. She was applauded by the industy and won the prestigious 'Digital Warrior Award for the Best Digital Transitions during Pandemic'. After saying good-bye to SBI in Aug 2021, Sunita continues to give back to the digital world in her position of Chairman of Toyota FSIN, as Principal Advisor to a fastgrowing fintech Protectt.ai and as speaker, panelist, jury member at various events.
