Concerned that her son Elijah Blue Allman is about to receive a large annual payment from his trust fund, Cher has stepped in to ask a court to let her control his finances. "Given his ongoing mental health and substance abuse issues, [Cher] is concerned that any funds distributed to Elijah will be immediately spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself and putting Elijah's life at risk," the document filed in a Los Angeles Superior Court states.
