LETTERMAN &LENO STILL FEUDING OVER CARSON CROWN

LEGENDARY late-night rivals Jay Leno and David Letterman are still squabbling over who was the true apple of the late TV titan Johnny Carson’s eye, say sources.

Although Leno succeeded Carson on The Tonight Show in 1992, our sources say Letterman still believes Johnny would have chosen him instead if it was up to him.

“Dave will go to his grave believing Johnny wanted him, not Jay, to replace him,” dishes an insider.

But another source says Leno, 74, believes Letterman is full of it!

Leno was a frequent Tonight Show guest while Carson was at the helm and became his exclusive fill-in host in 1987.
