COOKED HER LITTLE GIRL!

HALF-BAKED Mariah Thomas cooked her infant daughter in an oven – but the Missouri madwoman claims it was a mistake because she thought she'd put the tot in her crib, lawmen say.

According to investigators, Thomas, 26, called a male relative to come home “immediately” because there was “something wrong with the baby.”

The witness rushed to the residence, which smelled of smoke, and found the lifeless little girl.

The child was found with "thermal injuries," police say

Thomas allegedly told him, “I accidentally put her in the oven.”

Cops say Thomas’ dead daughter had “thermal injuries” and her onesie “appeared to have melted onto the diaper.”

A search of the home also turned up a burned baby blanket.

“Within a matter of minutes I heard sirens. The next thing I know, there's a baby carrier being transported between the [ambulance] and the house,” recalls neighbor Corrine Foreman.

Cops arrived at the Kansas City home

Stunned local Amber Morgan adds, “I’m pretty shocked by it and appalled that there’s a death in our neighborhood. It’s sad, especially when it’s a child!”
