AS HIT PERIOD DRAMA RETURNS TO SCREENS 'BRIDGERTON' PREMIERE NICOLA COUGHLAN AND LUKE NEWTON THRILL FANS AT LAVISH LONDON LAUNCH

With an abundance of beautiful blooms and a plush red carpet, London's Leicester Square resembled a highsociety setting for the premiere of the latest instalment of Bridgerton.

And HELLO! was soaking up the excitement at the glitzy event as the cast of the hit Netflix period drama rounded off a press tour to promote the second part of the show's third series last week.

"We are so grateful. When we started this show, we had no idea it would be like this and we get to share it with you all. It's been the privilege of my life," said star Nicola Coughlan before the screening.

Her co-star Luke Newton added: "We've been to so many cities around the world, but it's special to finish here in London, where it's shot and where it's based.

We wouldn't have been able to do this without all of you showing up here." The pair, who play Penelope Featherington and her love interest Colin Bridgerton, certainly dressed for the occasion.
