STEAMY SCENE STEALER NICOLE KIDMAN REVEALS ON-SET SECRETS OF 'BABYGIRL'

Nicole Kidman is no stranger to Oscar glory, having won the Best Actress Academy Award for The Hours as well as gaining four other nominations.

Now, the 57-year-old Moulin Rouge star could be on track to receive yet another nod for her performance in erotic thriller Babygirl.

She plays Romy, a chief executive who seems to be happily married to a handsome, doting husband (Antonio Banderas) but embarks on a torrid affair with her much younger intern (British actor Harris Dickinson).

Written and directed by Halina Reijn, who is also an actress, Babygirl has drawn comparisons with the high-gloss sexual dramas of the 1990s think Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct or even Eyes Wide Shut, the erotic mystery in which Nicole costarred with her then husband Tom Cruise.

Here, the Australian actress, who is married to singer Keith Urban, with whom she has two daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, talks about having an understanding family and being turned on by her new role.

Nicole, you've always been willing to take risks in your work - what did you think of Babygirl when you were first approached about it?
