The royal family embraced their inner Swiftie when they joined thousands of fans for the first of Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated concerts in London – and it was a special sight to see the Prince of Wales dancing alongside 88,000 devotees at Wembley Stadium on the singer’s opening night.
Prince William treated his children Prince George, ten, and nine-year-old Princess Charlotte to an evening out at The Eras Tour, and it proved the perfect way to celebrate his 42nd birthday.
William shared a photograph on social media of him and his two eldest children meeting the Shake It Off singer backstage before the performance began, with huge smiles all round.
George and Charlotte looked to be in their element, with the young Princess shimmering in a gold sequinned dress as she posed beside Taylor, 34, for a selfie.
The royal children were “an absolute delight”, revealed Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Speaking on his podcast with his brother Jason, the NFL star said: “I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them or curtsy, or just be an American idiot and shake their hand.”
SUPERSTAR CHARLOTTE
He added that he had addressed William – whom he described as “fantastic”, “personable” and “ the cooles t mother*****r” – as “Your Royal Highness”, saying that he had “never felt so emasculated”.
Travis, 34, continued: “The highlight was Princess Charlotte. Prince George was great too, but she was so f*****g adorable. I cannot express how much of a superstar she was. She had fire to her, she was asking questions – that was the most electric part of it.”
