James "Arg" Argent has been feeling better than ever after undergoing a gastric band procedure in 2021 and getting into his fitness. He could even be set to run the London Marathon next year, he tells new during our exclusive chat.
"I've lost a lot of weight about 13st in total. I feel so much better, I really do," explains the former TOWIE star, who went from 27st down to 14. He says that he feels "strong and fit" and has recently got into running and completed a half marathon.
As we probe whether the 2025 London Marathon could be on the cards, he admits it's not ruled out. Sharing that he'd like to do it alongside close pal Mark Wright, the TV star says, "That would be cool [running the London Marathon with Mark]. That would be great. Will he push me to do it? Absolutely. He'd pace me to get a good time as well."
Signing up for a marathon is a far cry from where Arg was a few years ago, with the 36-year-old speaking openly about his weight battle over recent years and how he hasn't looked back since undergoing the gastric sleeve surgery.
