Harry Derbidge has grown up in the glare of the public eye. As an original member of the TOWIE cast, joining at the age of 16, he has lived a number of his ups and downs in the spotlight, from unapologetically celebrating himself as a gay man to opening up about his eating disorder and calling off his wedding to fiancé Dean Rowland.
After an eight-year break from the show, Harry – who is now 28 – returned to screens in 2020 and has now found happiness with boyfriend Jackson Lonergan, gushing, “He’s shown me what true love is” as he natters with new on the phone.
He also tells us that the current series of the hit ITVBe show “feels like old-school TOWIE”, despite the cast being rocked by the news of Yazmin Oukhellou’s near-fatal car crash in July, which claimed the life of her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean.
“We’re all close friends anyway but it does make you realise a lot in life,” Harry contemplates as he speaks about his castmates.
Here, Harry sends his love to Yaz, opens up on his and cousin Amy Childs’ love lives, and tells us how he’s back to his old self.
Hi, Harry! Can you give us any gossip about the new series of TOWIE?
