It's been 20 years since Matt and Emma Willis first laid eyes on one another and, two decades on, they're stronger than ever.
The couple, who have been married since 2008, have been through their fair share of trials and tribulations – with Matt battling a decadeslong addiction to drugs and alcohol – and have come out the other side.
And now, Matt and Emma have come together professionally to front the Netflix hit Love Is Blind UK – with their own tumultuous journey making them the perfect hosts to help new couples navigate love and marriage.
While they’ve not had it easy, they are now more in love than ever, a source said.
“Matt and Emma have been through some really, really tough times and they’ve both found it difficult,” explained the source.
“Matt has had his battles with drinking and substance abuse and it’s not been easy – anyone else would have thrown in the towel but Emma has stuck by him. Love rises to the top and she absolutely loves him with everything in her.”
Matt, 41, who has three children with Emma, 48, has been in rehab four times, most recently in 2016 when his band, Busted, went on tour.
He and Emma haven’t shied away from their tough times and have candidly spoken about the struggles they have faced – with Matt even fronting a raw BBC documentary titled Matt Willis: Fighting Addiction last year.
