Meghan says Netflix docu with Harry will still air but contents “may not be the way we would have told it”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s controversial Netflix documentary is still going ahead, despite rumours it might have been shelved after the Queen’s death.

Opening up to Variety magazine in the US, Meghan confirmed her show with husband Prince Harry will be aired – but added that the finished product’s story “may not be the way we would have told it”.

Last month, reports suggested the couple were concerned about the show streaming so soon after the passing of Harry’s grandmother. It was also claimed they wanted to backtrack on some comments they made about the royal family during filming.

In her first interview since Her Majesty’s death last month, 41-year-old Meghan said of the series, “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story – a seasoned director [Liz Garbus] whose work I’ve long admired – even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it.
