Hollyoaks regular Peri Lomax has faced more than her fair share of hardship in her 23 years, including learning her sister was in fact her mum, having a baby at 15 and losing her girlfriend Juliet to cancer.
“Peri’s already lived enough for two lives,” laughs actress Ruby O’Donnell, who plays her. “She’s such a versatile character. I think that’s why I love her – she can literally go anywhere.”
It seems her wishes have been granted, as Peri becomes involved in a murder mystery.
During a trip to a posh manor to film a Love Island-style show called Love Cave, evil influencer Rayne Royce is killed. And Peri finds herself under suspicion, as it’s no secret the pair have been at odds for a while.
Recently, Rayne has been manipulating her boyfriend Romeo – who is also Juliet’s brother – with her actions including an attempt to blackmail Peri and falsely accusing Prince McQueen of sexual assault.
